Port Washington Yacht Club in Port Washington, NY has selected the North Shore Autism Circle (NSAC) as the beneficiary of their 17th Annual Charity Cup Regatta. NSAC develops programs including special needs sports leagues for tennis, soccer, baseball and basketball, peer mentoring, art and cultural arts programs, and vocational programs that provide gainful employment and meaningful work opportunities to individuals with autism

Mother Nature celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the Ida Lewis Distance Race by sending winds up to 25 knots and big waves, challenging the record 47-boat fleet and forcing 12 to retire.

25th Anniversary Mudhead Benefit Cup Raises over $65,000 for Hospice

In July, sailors from the Mystic River Mudheads, Niantic Bay Yacht Club, Stonington Dinghy Club and Thames Yacht Club raced in the 25th Annual Mudhead Benefit Cup and raised funds for the Center for Hospice Care.

C&C Rendezvous is September 19 – 21, 2014

The third annual C&C Owners Northeast Rendezvous will be held in Newport, RI on the weekend of September 19 – 21, 2014. This event has enjoyed rapid growth, with about 30 boats from New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts attending last year’s rally on Block Island. Headquarters for the 2014 Rendezvous is the Alofsin Piers at Fort Adams State Park, adjacent to the Museum of Yachting.
