Offshore Sailing School has announced that Robert (Rob) Brooks has joined the company’s executive team as Director of Operations. “His background and successful career in sailing education and racing makes Rob the ideal leader in developing new programs, faculty, branch and resource management aswe continue to grow our business,”said Offshore Chairman and Founder Steve Colgate.
Brooks has over 32 years of professional sailing instruction and coaching experience. He holds many racing honors including numerous world and national championships, and has coached the past six Offshore/North U. Race Weeks and several top-level Women’s Rolex and Women’s Keelboat Championship teams. His onshore talents include sailmaking, rigging and new boat commissioning.
