Event: Paddle for the Sound 2021
When: July 23 – August 1 (with an online auction that launches on July 18)
Where: Wherever you are! Log and submit your miles from anywhere to compete for the grand prize
What: Paddle for the Sound is Save the Sound’s 6th annual race to raise funds and awareness for environmental protection throughout the Long Island Sound region.
PATS 2021 Flyer_FINALAs an organization, Save the Sound fights climate change, saves endangered lands, protects the Sound and its rivers, and restores local ecosystems – and it’s events like this that make it all possible. From July 23 to August 1 participants can join the event from wherever they are, paddling, sailing, or running on their own time throughout the nine days. Register in one of three categories: paddle/kayak, sailboat, or land lover, and make it a family event with our youth category for nature-lovers under 14 who would like to participate.
Prizes will be awarded to the top finisher in each category who logs and submits their miles over the course of the nine days. For the second year now, the event will also include an online auction that will be open from July 18 – August 1.
