Twenty-Second Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race
June 14 - June 22
Organized by the Marion-Bermuda Cruising Yacht Race Association, supported by the Beverly Yacht Club, the Blue Water Sailing Club and the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club and first sailed in 1977, the Marion-Bermuda Race is a 645-nautical mile Corinthian event.
Starting off Marion, Massachusetts and finishing off St. David’s Head, Bermuda, the race provides an opportunity for cruising yachts and amateur crews to participate in an ocean race with a rendezvous in one the world’s loveliest islands. A rite of passage for generations of sailors, Marion-Bermuda encourages the development of blue water sailing skills on seaworthy yachts that can be handled safely offshore with limited crew.
