NESSA Rebecca Herreshoff Qualifier

Hosted by SAIL BLACK ROCK at Captain’s Cove Seaport in Bridgeport, CT and sailed in FJs, this NESSA regatta for high school girls is a regional qualifier for the New England Girls Championship for the Rebecca Herreshoff Trophy, to be held at Bowdoin.

Highlights include a pre-race presentation by Dawn Riley, Executive Director of Oakcliff Sailing in Oyster Bay, NY (a veteran of four America’s Cups and two Whitbread Round the World Races and the first woman to manage an America’s Cup team), keeper sailor’s knot bracelets for placing teams, and a post-race pizza party sponsored by Regatta Ginger Beer.
