CT Spring Boat Show

New attractions at this year’s show include the first-ever Taste of Essex℠ exhibits, Newport Bermuda Race seminars, Fishing The Sound and Beyond seminars, activities for kids, and more.
The 2021 Show, one of the first events in New England after the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, raised over $22,000.00 in much-needed funds for Sails Up 4 Cancer. The Show also had a record number of attendees, well over 2,000. While the boat inventory was drastically reduced because of the pandemic, many boats were sold over the weekend. And our shoreside exhibitors broke new ground as well with twenty-five engaging the crowds.
In 2022, we plan to double all of these figures! And we are going to add our first-ever Taste of Essex℠ exhibits, Newport Bermuda Race seminars, Fishing The Sound and Beyond seminars and more activities for kids. Mark Your Calendar!
The annual show is a production of WindCheck Magazine and hosted by Safe Harbor Essex Island Marina. 2021 Show sponsors included BMW, Essex Boat Works, Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, Gowrie Group, and the Yacht Brokers Association of America (YBAA).
