Outer Light Classic
An Eastern Connecticut Sailing Association points event, the Outer Light Classic is North Cove Yacht Club's pride and joy regatta built to maximize fun, competition complete with one heck of a party. There are several Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker classes based on PHRF-ECSA handicaps.

© Rick Bannerot Hosted by Stamford Yacht Club in Stamford, Connecticut and first held in 1932, this Labor Day Weekend classic offers a choice of three courses: 238 nm from Stamford around Buzzards Bay Light Tower and back; 143 nm from Stamford to Seaflower Reef and back; and 116 nm from Stamford to Cornfield Point Shoal and back. There are divisions for IRC, PHRF, HPR, Multihulls, Classic Yachts, Double-Handed boats, and a Corinthian Challenge for college sailors.
