12th Annual Mudnite Madness Overnight

The Mystic River Mudhead Sailing Association invites sailors to come over to The Dark Side.  Sail through the night…sunset…stars in the rigging…moonrise…dawn.  Lose some sleep – you don’t have ANYTHING better to do!

Courses are approximately 45 to 65 miles long and will utilize government marks in Block Island Sound, Montauk, and Gardiners Bay areas.  The starting area will be in the vicinity of Horseshoe Reef just west of Fishers Island Sound. The course to be sailed will be set by the race committee immediately prior to the start.

Mudnite Madness is an Eastern Connecticut Sailing Association Offshore Circuit double point race, all participants receive a free Mudnite T-shirt, and there are loaded gumball machine trophies.  Enter the Mudnite Madness Photo Contest, and you might win a trophy for the best photo taken during the race.
