Ship 6 - Adventure Sailing for Teens. Norwalk CT

Sea Scout Ship 6 based in Norwalk CT is a youth led, volunteer advised, co-ed program for teenagers 14 and up. Many of our crew keep a strong interest in sailing and the maritime industry long after their Ship 6 experience. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization through our chartering organization and donations are usually tax-deductible. The program goal is to develop able sailors capable of handling the boat and crew as if it were their own. Individual development and team work sail side by side in Ship 6. > The teens recently worked hard to refinish the topsides of our primary training vessel Celebration. We are now in need of a new canvas winter cover and frame. Learn more about Ship 6: www.norwalkship6.org Contact: [email protected]

Looking to gain more experience on the water?

Looking for people with sailing and boating skills to come along on charters during the summer months. This is an excellent way to gain time on the water and hone in on particular skills you'd like to improve on or learn. Charters are 2-3 hrs and happen during the week and weekends. You need car to get yourself to the marina, good attitude and sense of humor!
