Ho Sailors!

I picked up WindCheck in Belfast, Maine this fall and am still amazed by the range and variety of your articles. Fascinating stuff, even for someone with limited sailing experience.

Keep it up!

Jackie – Thank you for the kind words. It’s our goal to deliver engaging a read to all those who enjoy the waters of the Northeast, and our crew strives to make each issue better than the one before.

Growing the Community

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate WindCheck. I think we have some of the finest sailing in the world here in the Northeast, and I am so glad that you all put in such hard work to create a publication for the sailors in the area. My community and I rely on it and truly appreciate it.

All the best,

Sharif Khalje, via email

Sharif – Our crew is pleased to be appreciated, although we’re not certain that creating WindCheck is hard work!

Correction

We regrettably misidentified a prominent sailor in the On Watch article about Stephanie McLennan in our February 2021 edition. Stephanie’s grandmother was Nancy Leiter Clagett, namesake of the trophy presented annually to the winner of the U.S. Junior Women’s Singlehanded Championship.
