By Wayne Brown The U.S. Coast Guard and officials have honored Kathleen “Kate” Moore, the keeper of Black Rock Harbor Lighthouse on Fayerweather Island at the mouth of Block Rock Harbor in Bridgeport, CT. Moore, who kept the light for 61 years, is credited with saving 21 lives. Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont, NY has completed an extensive update of their Junior Clubhouse. The building, originally the barn and stable for the Carver home (the current Clubhouse), has served generations of LYC junior sailors since 1952.

Intrepid Marine Electronics is now conveniently located at Norwalk Cove Marina in Norwalk, CT.

The building houses a team of composites experts who are currently beginning construction on a line of 30-foot multihull boats for Trefoil Marine.
