North America’s oldest annual regatta features three great days of racing including the separately scored Around-the-Island Race on Friday, 6/14. Competition will take place in ORC, PHRF and one-design classes, as well as for classic yachts and multihulls.

Built upon the competitive spirit and good fellowship of Corinthian sailing, this biennial classic offers the unique opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie that develops from an offshore passage while testing one’s ability to reach the highest levels of teamwork racing a well-founded yacht. Hosted by Sail Newport, this event was created to give participants the opportunity to improve their skills and reach personal goals through world-class coaching and competition. Sailed in the three Paralympic class boats, this Clagett Sailing event is North America’s premier regatta for sailors with disabilities.

Triple Crown Series events are open to 49er, 49erFX, 470(Mix), ILCA 6, ILCA 7, and Nacra 17 classes.  All classes are open to all genders to promote the development of young sailors although to be eligible for prize grants you must be sailing in a configuration eligible for the Olympic Games.

Sponsored by Newport Yacht Club and the St. George’s Dinghy & Sports Club and first sailed in 1977, this biennial event comprises a singlehanded race from Newport to Bermuda and a doublehanded race from Bermuda back to Newport.

A staple on the East Coast racing calendar since 1938, this highly competitive event features the centerpiece ‘Round-the-Island competition, one of yacht racing’s oldest distance events. Edgartown Race Weekend attracts teams of all sizes and calibers from around the U.S. and internationally.
