Shoreline Sailing Club meeting
Enjoy Summer with Shoreline Sailing Club’s Terrific Group of Singles Age 35+. Join us at Clark Memorial Field, 210 Elm Street, Old Saybrook, CT (across the street from Pasta Vita). The club is the premier sailing and boating club on the shoreline. We welcome new members, and no prior sailing experience is needed. Presented by the Storm Trysail Club, this hands-on workshop includes presentations covering safety procedures, particularly man overboard recovery and big-boat organization & crew work, in-the-water demonstration of inflatable PFDs and the inflation of a six-man canopied life raft, and sail handling & man overboard drills, both upwind with jibs and downwind with spinnakers.
