Facebook.com/American Yacht Club This event, held on two consecutive weekends (April 25 & 26 and May 2 & 3), kicks off the spring racing season on Long Island Sound with classes for One-Design, PHRF, IRC  and ORC boats. New for 2020 is an overnight distance race, with divisions for ORC Fully Crewed, Doublehanded and Mixed Doublehanded boats.

65th Annual Edlu Distance Race

Hosted by Larchmont Yacht Club in Larchmont, New York and first sailed in 1956, the Edlu has long been a classic tune-up race for the Block Island Race and Block Island Race Week. The Spinnaker course is 32 nm from the Larchmont Breakwater to Gong 11B off Eaton’s Neck and back. The Non-Spinnaker course is approximately 20 nm.
