The Sag Harbor Women’s Sailing Conference is a women-focused community event organized by local sailor Venetia Satow and hosted at Breakwater Yacht Club and Community Sailing Centre. Its goal: to support and encourage the development of women’s sailing around the Long Island Sound.
Speakers will include Anna Tunnicliffe Tobias, 2-time Olympian and 2008 Gold Medalist; Marbella Marlo, recent Harvard Sailing Team graduate and two time ICSA national champion; Dawn Riley, engineer on Maiden and Oakcliff Sailing Executive Director; and one other female sailor to be announced. The event will include individual speeches from these speakers, a panel discussion, and time to socialize with refreshments.
