2nd Annual Sunfish Adventure Raid

June 1, 2019 - June 2, 2019

Sponsored by LaserPerformance and Maclaren, this 2-day race down the Connecticut River has a course of approximately 35 miles from Rocky Hill to Essex, Connecticut, with an overnight campout Hurd State Park in East Hampton and an awards party at Pettipaug Yacht Club in Essex. It’s open to all sailors with a Sunfish and any other beachable monohull or multihull with an accurate Portsmouth Yardstick rating, and there’s no entry fee. 3rd Annual Conquer the Current Paddle Regatta

Open to all paddle craft (canoes, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and rowboats), this event benefits the Connecticut River Museum’s education programs. There are two race routes: The Eagle Landing Recreational Race is 8.74 nautical miles from Eagle Landing State Park in Haddam, Connecticut to the museum in Essex, Connecticut.
