2nd Annual Paddle for Access
August 17, 2019
Comprising a 3-mile and 6-mile paddle around Goat Island, this stand up paddleboard event celebrates the ongoing work by Clean Ocean Access to protect and preserve shoreline access on Aquidneck Island.
Online registration closes at 6 PM on August 16, 2019
Check-in begins promptly at 6:30 AM and ends at 7:45 AM on August 17, 2019
Race briefing starts at 7:45AM
6-mile race begins at 8:00AM and the 3-mile race begins at 8:15AMRestrooms are available at the Newport Shipyard and SUP drop-off is available inside the Newport Shipyard gate.

The 3-mile and 6-mile paddles include race categories based on board length and gender. Awards are giving to the 1st and 2nd place finishes in each category.
