Landfall celebrates 33 years of successfully implementing safe boating and navigation practices amongst all mariners by hosting a grand reopening celebration on Friday, June 5th 2015, from 5:00-8:30pm (151 Harvard Ave, Stamford, CT 06902, I-95 Exit 6). This milestone event to honor and thank their customers over the last three decades, dovetails with the introduction of their redesigned flagship store.
"Over this past winter we've made extraordinary improvements to our retail location." said Captain Henry Marx, Owner and President of Landfall since 1982. " While this does not change who we are or how we'll serve our military and professional customers, we have created a more enjoyable and exciting customer experience for recreational boaters, which maintains our core principles and strengthens our positioning to market changes." Marx continued. "The best part is, we're just getting started."
Landfall's staff has been instrumental in designing and implementing the store renovations. "Our crew maintain primary contact with our customers, so their input into the redesign process, is vicariously, our customer's input," said Sean Fleischman, Landfall's Vice President. "The process has been a great experience for everyone involved, we learned a great deal about our customers and our business," added Campbell Woods, Landfall's Retail Sales Director.
Landfall's crew maintain that this is just the beginning of many changes that are being rolled out over the next few months as they evolve to meet market demands. "Overall, our goal is enjoyment and safety on the water. We'll achieve this by implementing additional products and staff training to meet our customers' demands throughout their boating continuum" maintained Captain Marx "With the implementation of our upgraded running rigging services we are able to help sailors safely operate their boats."
